Exploring the iconic locations in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic leads players through deep lore and challenging puzzles. Among these historical sites, the Tomb of Ajunta Pall on Korriban serves as a crucial stop for gaining prestige at the Sith Academy. Navigating this ancient structure requires both combat readiness and strategic decision-making to recover a legendary artifact.

Finding the Tomb in the Valley of the Dark Lords

The Tomb of Ajunta Pall is located within the Valley of the Dark Lords on the planet Korriban. Players can access this area after leaving the Sith Academy and heading into the canyon paths. The entrance is clearly marked along the side of the main valley, guarded by hostile native wildlife such as tuk'ata beasts.

Once inside, players must navigate through narrow corridors while overcoming traps and ancient battle droids. Preparing your party with high-damage weapons and security skills will ensure a smooth journey to the central chamber.

Solving the Tomb Puzzle and Retrieving the Sword

Reaching the inner tomb reveals an ancient obelisk blocking the main pathway. Players can clear the path by interacting with nearby pillars or utilizing grenades to destroy obstacles blocking the tomb doors. Inside the burial chamber, three distinct blades are placed near the primary sarcophagus.

To solve the puzzle correctly, players must select the authentic weapon from the choices offered, which includes a double-bladed sword, a silver-lined sword, and a notched steel sword. Placing the proper blade on the statue summons the spirit of the ancient Sith Lord.

Interacting with the Ghost of Ajunta Pall

Upon activating the altar, the Force ghost of Ajunta Pall manifests to confront the player. Dialogue choices during this encounter offer multiple paths depending on your character alignment. Players can choose to fight the spirit, or use persuade options to convince him to reject the dark side and return to the light.

Successfully redeeming the ancient spirit awards significant light side points and grants access to Ajunta Pall's blade. Alternatively, defeating his apparition allows dark side characters to claim the relic by force.

Completing the Quest and Dealing with Shaardan

As you exit the burial chamber with the authentic blade, a rival Sith acolyte named Shaardan confronts you. He demands that you hand over the sword so he can claim credit with Master Uthar at the academy.

You can choose to fight Shaardan, trick him by handing over one of the fake swords, or keep the real artifact for your own equipment roster. Returning the sword or reporting your success to the Sith Academy provides vital prestige required to advance the main story.
